If peace means accepting second class citizenship, then I don’t want it. If peace means keeping my mouth shut in the midst of evil and injustice, then I don’t want it. If peace means being complacent and accepting the status quo, then I don’t want it. If peace means being passive, then I don’t want it. If peace means a willingness to be exploited and humiliated, then that’s the kind of peace that I don’t want” Martin Luther King Jr
As great as First Lady Michelle Obama and President Obama were, there’s nothing like The Spirit and Soul of our conscience. When it is spoken so clearly that even the least among us can understand it and receive it. It stands to reason why some will ask,
“Where Is It”
It’s in your Spirit, Soul and Heart
Only from the Heart can one speak to the Spirit, Souls and Hearts of the people.
It’s time for us to live worthy of such
Amazon Grace Whereby all Americans can embrace those most powerful words “WE THE PEOPLE”
“There are three distinct dimensions of reality: physical, natural/biological, and social. The first two are natural phenomenon. The latter is created by human action”. by Dr Mack Jones
It seems to me and many others that conflict, struggles and even War gives birth to “Peace”
World War I officially ended with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. Peace was not fully realized because Germany was feeling left out. Peace was short live, then came World War II, but again, Peace came on February 10, 1947 and The Paris Peace Treaties were signed. Lastly, Peace was achieved through Pope John III (Cuban missile https://youtu.be/LJzDeC5_wco) Sept.23, 1962.
Please allow this one fact to get in your mind… We found Peace through some of the worse times in our History.
Before America can move forward we must deal with what The Republican party has given us, “Trump”. More than half the country cannot forget, nor forgive, all the hateful things he has said. Trump continues to tweet hateful, divisive tweets but at the same time, half of Americans are asked by main stream Republicans to ignore all that and accept him as their President. I remind my Republicans friends the words of Dr.King, “If peace means keeping my mouth shut in the midst of evil and injustice, then I don’t want it”.
Like all relationships, there is a process. Accepting someone as your President take on a process as well. I’m not sure if Trump is capable of delivering such process. Trump is 70 years old and chances are he’s been this way all his life. He’s probably not changing, but neither are we!
If we are to get to peace we MUST go through this process
“WHY WE MUST SPEAK”
